OPL-3 output waveform 5
The white path contains bit accurate data for the digital output of the waveform.
There are 1024 distinct values in the opl output, and these are represented in the svg by two complete cycles across 2049 points in the path.
(the first and last points being equivalent from one cycle to the one after next next)
The values in the path have been scaled to 1/10 of their size.
If you take any given y-ordinate in the path and multiply it by 10 you will get the corresponding digital value which represents an unattenuated output value from the opl waveform.
This is therefore the maximum volume for a single opl operator. Any other settings in the opl will attenuate the signal and make it quieter (total level, envelope, tremolo etc).
The entire output range of the chip is from -32768 to +32767
