Wombat Game Tools (also known as Wombat File Tools) is an extraction tool written by Szevvy. It allows the files, images, sounds, etc. to be examined and exported from a number of classic games.
Szevvy's website is szevvy.com, it went offline for a while, but it's working again as of 15/10/2018.
