Gannalech pronunciation
Something I've often wondered about - is the "ch" in "Gannalech" pronounced as in "leech" or as in "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" (sorry, that was the first Welsh word ending in ch that came to mind) or as in Christmas or as in loch (across between the Welsh ch and the hard ch)? -- DHeadshot 17:21, 15 December 2009 (GMT)

Yeah. The ch in "Christmas", I think. Well, I always wondered how they got "Gannalech" out of "Grand Intellect". I suppose it went as follows:
- Grand Intellect
- Gran-inelecht
- Gran'in'elech'
- G'anne'elech'
Then, without the apostrophes:
- Ganneelech
- Finally, Gannalech.

Take BotB Mortimer to a different page?
Even if a mod is high quality, it's still unofficial and probably shouldn't be lumped with a page with otherwise only official appearances.
I propose a page that covers all unofficial appearances of Mortimer. This would cover Mortimer in BotB, Yorphius II, Doomship Dilemma etc. Pandakeen (talk) 18:10, 7 August 2021 (GMT)
- Yeah, for a long time I thought it was weird that BotB info for Mortimer gets slapped into an article that's otherwise just official appearances, while Mangling Machine 2.0 (Commander Keen - Robot Invasion) and Android Dummy (Episode X) get their own pages. I'm not sure what's the wiki's current stance on pages for mod/fangame characters (there's been a few debates, but none have lead to a final conclusion if I remember correctly), but I went ahead and moved all the BotB stuff into its own page for now.
- Your idea of having a page that lists all unofficial appearances of Mortimer might not be a bad one; it could go well with the Norp page. Would we describe his appearances in detail (e.g. role in story, actor behavior) or just provide a list of appearances like in the Norp page? Or maybe something a little in-between, like a list where each appearance comes with a quick note about his role in parenthesis, like "(Tank Robot replacement)" for Yorphius II?
