Shikadus I is the home world of the malevolent energy beings, the Shikadi. Mortimer has a history with the Shikadi and it is no surprise that one of security gateways is located on their home planet. In addition to the Shikadi and native inhabitants, Mortimer has sent several of his robotic and genetically enhanced soldiers to help guard the gateway controls.
