Norp is another name for Keens pet Yorp Spot. The name first appeared in the Keen community and is therefore not official. Some people prefer to use the name Norp instead of Spot, most notably Xtraverse who let Norp star in his four mods.
The name 'Spot' is found on the Yorp's feeding dish and can therefore be assumed to be its 'real' or official name, though this is debatable as Spot is a common canine name and dishes with this name can be easily purchased. Thus it is possible to argue that the name 'Norp' is consistent, and this appears to be the preferred name among the Keen community.
