Mushroom Forest is the sixth level in The Keys of Krodacia. It is similar to the first two levels where you go from one end of the screen to the other in order to get to the exit. But similiar to Forest Tunnels, the player is required to go underground in order to find the solution that will lead to the exit. Not only is this the only level with the Rotten Raddish, but it is also the only level where Slime Shooters appear. As if there were not enough obstacles to stand in Keen's way, Brombo and Nosdrill are intent to stop Keen from making his way through. Completing this level opens access to Gem Temple, Fun House, and Slime Lake.
Lt. Barker from the Vorticon Special Forces, who has been ordered to help you find the keys, can be found in this level. Last time he gave you some help. This time he needs your help:

I guess this would explain why Lt. Barker has not found any keys, so Keen has to get all the keys himself!
