Cairo Tantalus Center is the second Tantalus Ray level found in Keen 2. As the name implies, it is aimed at the city of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The image on the screen is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which is probably the exact point of impact.
It is slightly better protected than the London Tantalus Center. It also has only one Guard Robot and one Vorticon Elite protecting it, but there are also a couple of Youths running around, and a lot of flaming torches on the way. There are also a couple of Vorticon Grunts, but they are in an optional lower area with some Candy Bars. Keen just has to move around the winding passages, avoiding the dangers, and destroy the Tantalus Ray.
This is also the first level to feature a translucent glass panel, at the beginning of the level.
