Bounder

The Bounders are harmless ball-like red creatures found on Gnosticus IV; they are exceedingly tough and can be stepped upon without hurting them. Indeed they can be ridden on and even pogoed off of to reach extra-high places.

Tourists have invented the sport of 'Bounder Racing', where a Bounder is mounted (stood on) and then directed to move in certain directions by leaning forward, backward, etc. It is rapidly increasing in popularity.

Bounders spend most of their time bounding around the planet's surface in a random manner, feeding off any plantlife encountered. It takes one shot to stun them permanently. Interestingly, if you shoot a bounder while mounting it, with good timing, it will jump even higher before finally falling stunned to floor.

Bounders are also seen on the Shikadi World in Keen GBC, where they behave almost identically to their Keen 4 counterparts, though they are more difficult to ride.
