Apple Acres is a level in Keen Dreams. It is notable in the fact it contains the only Pea Pod in the game. This is also the only level where the Apples appear as well. The level before this one (Level 8) is an incomplete level and is inaccessible unless you use the warp cheat. It is unknown whether or not those incomplete levels were intentional, development of Keen Dreams was rushed, or because of some other problem. There are 4 empty levels which means there are 12 official levels in this game instead of 16.
Apple Acres is probably one of the more complex levels in Keen Dreams. It contains many poles for Keen to climb up to many different structures where the Apples crawl up and down poles and prepare for attack. The exit is on the other side of the screen opposite of where Keen starts. Two other rarities you will encounter is it is one of two levels where tracks and a mine cart can be found. The other level being The Melon Mines. It is also one of two levels where 6 Boobus Bombs can be found. The other level being Spud City. There is also a secret passage if you look hard enough. Creatures you will encounter in this level are the aforementioned Pee Pod and the Apple, not to mention the ever popular Tater Trooper.
